Engage:
We will continue to engage and collaborate with the District 11 Parent Leaders, District Leadership Team (DLT), District Planning, Title I DPAC, Presidents' Council, PA/PTA, School Leadership Team(SLT), United Teachers Federation, Council of School Supervisors and Administrators, District Council 37, Superintendents & Deputy Superintendents, Panel for Educational Policy (PEP), Division of Family and Community Engagement (FACE), School Crossing Guards, Bronx Borough President Appointees, School Safety, State and Local Elected Politicians, Community Advocates, Community Boards and Their Educational Committees, District 11 Business, Non-for-Profits Organizations, and New York City Agencies

Inform:
We will continue to obtain resourceful information and inform parents/guardians of educational material pertaining to the whole child's well-being within our school community.
Educate:
We will continue to educate parents/guardians in the District 11 education system, on the responsibility of our education council, and the resources that are available in the community.
​
Advocate:
We will continue to advocate for all students, families, and school staff to make sure that funds and resources provided by our government are equitably distributed.

Developing and implementing outreach strategies to engage a diverse range of parents/guardians.

Fostering a culture of inclusivity to ensure that all students, parents/guardians, and the school community feel welcome and heard.

Providing technical resources to help families to have access to NYCSA.

Strengthening communication between CEC 11, the D11 Leadership Team, our liaison schools, and the local community.

Utilize our social media platforms, and newsletters to share updates about educational information and family resources.

Advocating for resources and support in schools with higher needs to ensure equity.

Working towards reducing educational disparities among schools within the District 11 community.

Encourage STEM & STEAM Education:

Supporting initiatives that enhance science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEM/STEAM) education in schools.

Support Special Education Programs:

Advocating to increase budgets for special education programs, resources, and support.

Collaborating with schools to ensure the effective implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Facilitating workshops and information sessions for parents of students with special needs.

Promote Safety & Health:

Advocating for safety policies & plans that prioritize the well-being of students, teachers, and staff.

Developing initiatives to promote mental health awareness and support for District 11 families.

Facilitate Community Partnerships:

Fostering collaborations with our local businesses, community, and nonprofit organizations to support their district’s schools.
